Model railway of the Drachten-Groningen tramway - The Philipslijn model railroad by Fokko Feenstra

At the model train show “Modeltrein Expo On TraXs 2022”, Fokko Feenstra presented his beautiful model railroad layout called “De Philipslijn”. The miniature world in HO scale represents a section of the former tramway between Drachten and Groningen in the Netherlands. In 1951, the Philips factory in Drachten was interest in the streetcar line as a transport route for the delivery of goods. Therefore, the railroad was also called “The railway line of Philips company”.
