This is № 543 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. In this video we learn that you can build a model railroad layout even on a small footprint. Robert Strachan, a model railway enthusiast from the United Kingdom, has built his model train diorama on an area of 5 feet 8 inches by 13 inches, approximately 180 cm x 30 cm. The model rail layout is a shelf layout respectively a small shunting model railroad layout or switching model railway layout.
This is № 530 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. In this video, we are visiting Marcel Segal’s model railroad workshop. At the moment, he is designing a very large modular model train layout, which will later measure 12 x 3 meters.

His beautiful model train layout is called “Neupreussen Main Station” and measures about 2.60 x 1.95 meters. Because “Neupreussen Main Station” is supposed to be located in the border area between Germany and Austria, we see model locomotives and model trains of different railway companies. These model trains are made by the manufacturers Piko and Roco.

Due to the main railway line, overhead lines, marshalling yard, fiddle yard, weathering on buildings and rolling stock, as well as an ingenious miniature car system based on Magnorail, Vincent Scholtze and Frodo Weidema have designed a superb model railroad layout in N scale on which steam locomotives, diesel locomotives and electric locomotives from Arnold and Hobbytrain run.
