This is № 570 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. Although Carlo Spada lives in Italy, he likes American railroads and trains, especially powerful steam locomotives and diesel-electric locomotives. In 2014, Carlo began building his model train layout in HO scale. His miniature world in 1/87 scale covers an area of 9.0 x 4.5 meters and depicts areas of the United States that are particularly close to his heart, such as Arizona, California and Colorado.

This is № 568 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. This model train layout is truly unique, as it is probably the only model railroad of the famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway RH&DR. The model train layout depicts an original section of the double-tracked line between the level crossing “Boltolph’s Bridge Crossing” and the bridge named “New Cut Sewer” crossing the drainage canal.

This is № 567 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. This beautiful model train layout in 1/87 scale is a historically accurate replica of the Royal Saxon State Railways. The period of East German railway traffic offers a rich repertoire for model railroading. This is why Jens Petermann started building the station of Jahnsbach with his team called “Bimmlbahner” in 2013. The rolling stock has been weathered and modified exactly according to old photos.

In rural regions, especially in the state of Saxony, narrow gauge steam engines were in use, for example on the “Pressnitz Valley Railway”.

Due to their long tradition, industrial railways are a very popular subject for railway modelling or model railroading. Dr. Michael Giersberg is one of those railway modellers or model railroaders who specialized in the reproduction of narrow gauge field railways in East Germany. His model train diorama constructed in HOn30 scale depicts a small village with a quarry in the 1960s.
