In this cab ride video you are the train driver. We are located on a large model railway layout and our diesel locomotive slowly drives over rails and switches into the locomotive depot. The engine shed, known as “running sheds”, “motive power depot” or “railway depot”, is located on the opposite side of the model railroad layout.
At the marshalling yard, our locomotive has to run at slow speed, because before entering the depot, a transfer table or traverser has to be passed. While entering the locomotive shed we see how railway employees repair and maintain another locomotive. Enjoy these rail operations in miniature!
