This is № 515 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. The most beautiful inspirations for rail transport modeling, model railroads and model railways are often provided by Switzerland. Therefore, Rob de Vleeschhouwer and Wim Wijnhoud have modelled the railway infrastructure between the Swiss and German border. The model railway layout is called “Court du Bouton” and depicts the rail traffic of trains used by the German state railroads (DB) and the Swiss state railways (SBB).

Track work is all code 75 by Peco. Pointwork is operated by MP5 slow action point motors. Also featuring working colour light signals. On the layout, there are a Bachmann class 158 GWR, a Bachmann class 153 FGW, a Dapol class 68 and a RealTrack class 143 in ATW. All locomotives and trains are sound fitted.

While using Pilentum’s train camera, we travel through a German model landscape. From the locomotive’s view, we see many other trains, for example freight trains, passenger trains and high-speed trains. The layout has been built as a so-called dog bone layout made for a very long circuit.
