Vintage Model Trains in O Scale with Cab Ride at the Dresden Railroad Museum

If you like vintage trains, locomotives and railways, you will love this model railway layout at the Dresden Railroad and Transport Museum. This model railroad layout was built in the 1960's in O scale in the German Democratic Republic, i.e. East Germany.

Originally, the model train layout and its signal box were used to explain the rail traffic to young railway engineers, for example, they learned about the process of signalling control of train movements and block systems to ensure that trains operate safely. Today, this model train layout is a very popular destination, especially during the Christmas season. In this video, you can watch many locomotives and trains of East Germany. Furthermore, Pilentum installed a little camera inside the locomotives for making cab ride videos.
