Model Railroading in N Scale: The Rockcliffe Layout by David and John Riddle

British twin brothers David and John Riddle wanted to create a model railroad layout with scenic impact, action and fine detail. They built a compact model train layout in N scale showing a main line station with express trains roaring through the countryside, but also a narrow gauge branch line clattering over waterfalls and through rocky ravines.

John is a model builder with a fine eye for detail; he’s the scenic driving force in rail transport modeling with constant creative ideas on landscaping and buildings. John has also perfected the rock surfaces. David designed the layout, built the framework and structure, laid the track, made the control panel and wired the electrics.
