The beautiful model railroad exhibition “Mini World Lyon” also features rail traffic between the border of France and Switzerland. In this border region, small narrow-gauge trains are mainly used to transport passengers and freight between small towns and villages in the Alps. The landscape design on the model train layout in 1/87 scale is overwhelming because narrow-gauge railways have to climb high mountains and pass through deep valleys.
