This is № 553 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. Although this model railway layout is only 60 cm x 30 cm in size, we discover an incredible amount of detail. This is the special feature of model railroader Wieger Pasman, who demonstrates that less can be more with his understated atmospheric model train city edge diorama. He was inspired by the desolate atmosphere of the Parisian district of La Plaine Saint Denis and built a diorama in HO scale with an industrial yard crossed on one side by a main line railway.
This is № 552 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. After four years of work, the new section of Patagonia in Miniatur Wunderland was opened. The 65-square-meter section wants to depict many typical attractions of Patagonia in 1/87 scale, for example, the Perito Moreno Glacier, where every few minutes blocks of ice crash into the water. There are not only the modern trains operated by the state-owned railway company called “Tren Patagónico”, but also the old steam trains running on narrow-gauge tracks and widely known as “La Trochita”.
This is № 550 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. We discover the largest model train layout of France, namely the beautiful miniature world called “Mini World Lyon”. Mini World Lyon was opened in 2016. The model railway layout has been built in 1/87 scale and is divided into three sections: City Life (“Ville”), Country Life (“Campagne”) and Mountain World (“Montagne”). These three magnificent model railroad layouts consist of over 1,000 buildings, 40,000 model trees, 6,000 vehicles, of which about 200 automatically drive around on the model roads and streets, 150 model trains, and two kilometers of HO scale track. More than 30,000 LED and over 200 kilometers of electric cables provide a dreamlike day and night illumination. Just as Miniatur Wunderland in Germany is the biggest tourist attraction in the city of Hamburg, Mini World Lyon is growing to become one of the biggest tourist attractions in France.

The two model railway enthusiast Jens Petermann and Jochen Klinger wanted to show the special feature of the different gauge of the Pressnitz Valley Railway on their model railway layout. Therefore, they rebuilt the station of the community of Steinbach on two 1.25 x 0.6 meter railway modules in order to depict the historical railroad operations.

In recent years, the Polish model railway club “Polska Makieta Modułowa H0 - Grupa Modelarska” and its members have surprised visitors at international model railway exhibitions with extremely detailed and lovingly designed HO scale model train layouts. A member of the club, Leszek Lewiński, presents a Polish narrow-gauge model rail diorama in museum quality. His model railroad layout is called “Over the Roofs of Kwidzyn” (“Nad dachami Kwidzyna”).
