Pretty nice tramway model railway layout from Belgium (On traXS 2024)

At the exhibition for model trains in Utrecht (On TraXS), the members of the model railroading club MOBOV presented their latest model railway layout in H0 scale. They found inspiration in their own Antwerp region with the National Company of Neighbourhood Railways (NMVB) connection from the city centre to the polder villages north of Antwerp.

After almost two years of construction, Alain Kap has completed his model train layout depicting the old Useldange railway station in Luxembourg in the 1960s. The HO scale layout consists of three segments with a total length of 2.70 meters. The small miniature world follows the philosophy of many model railroaders and railway modellers, namely to rebuilt long-gone railroad lines.

They call the shunting layout Ladeside Diesel Depot, and they have dedicated their diorama of the British Railways to the days of the Sixties when many steam sheds become overrun by the influx of new diesel locomotives.

In this video, Pilentum Television presents the superb model railroad layout built by Ignacio O'Callaghan, a steam locomotive and railway enthusiast from Barcelona in Spain. Ignacio constructed a miniature world in HO scale, which is 3.7 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. On this nearly five square meters, he has built a beautiful German model railway layout that impresses with its particularly excellent track plan and with its rich details.

The model railway layout was designed as an exhibition shelf layout with a size of 120 cm x 60 cm. The model train layout impresses with a magnificently designed landscape with beautiful trees and lots of nature.

One of the nearly realistic French model railroad layouts - HO scale model trains of SNCF in France

This is № 572 of Pilentum's model railroad videos. This magnificent HO scale train layout was built by the members of the Club Ferroviaire de Franche-Comté (CFFC) and depicts the train station of La Praz (“Gare de la Praz”) located at the “Culoz-Modane Railway”, sometimes called “Ligne de la Maurienne”. In 1925 the railway was electrified with 1.5 kV DC, using a third rail. In 1976 the third rail was replaced by an overhead wire. This is why we see electric locomotives that run without pantographs. Furthermore, train traffic concerns exclusively the period from 1956 to 1973.
