The Orient Express was a long distance passenger train service created in 1883. The first train left Paris for Vienna. Later the railway route ran from Paris to Istanbul crossing Munich, Budapest, Bucharest and Zurich. Due to the fame of this railway line, a replica was modeled in HO scale. The model railroad layout presents the famous cities and train stations where the Orient Express once has gone. This model railroad display is one section of the great model railway exhibition called “Model Railway Wiehe” in Germany.
