This model train video is about a small permanent model railway layout near Frankfurt, Germany. That exhibition is called “Modellbahnhof Stockheim”, and it was constructed in HO scale. It is housed in a former railway station building. Except for the model trains, the exhibition is also known as a model railway museum preserving the regional railway history.
On the layout, there are famous German steam locomotives, diesel multiple units and railcars used by today’s German railway companies. The layout, especially the model landscaping, is a bit older. Nevertheless, the trains are controlled automatically via DCC.
