The Brusio spiral viaduct, some say “Brusio circular viaduct”, is a single-track nine-arched stone spiral railway viaduct. It is located near Brusio, Switzerland, and was opened on 1 July 1908. The Brusio spiral viaduct is a part of the Bernina Railway. Normally, you would think, that this model railway layout was made by Swiss model railroaders. But this layout came from the Netherlands.
In Holland, there is a very special model railway association. Its members work exclusively on modular model railway segments with Swiss landscapes and with Swiss trains, only. Every Tuesday, almost 20 model builders and model railroaders meet to build on their model railway system.
