In this model railroading video, we discover a German model railroad layout built by the members of a railroad club. The model railway layout in HO scale (1/87) depicts a German landscape including a quarry and industrial areas.
The model train layout was designed for model railroad exhibitions and consists of four modules, with each module measuring approximately 160 x 160 cm. The tracks indicate that this modular miniature world uses the third rail system made by Märklin, where the middle rail is concealed in the track ballast with protruding studs.
